WELCOME TO NAV VANI SCHOOL
Nav Vani School, established by the Catholic Diocese of Varanasi (a minority community) in 1988 offers educational facilities from Class I - 10 for more than 250 deaf students, irrespective of class, caste, creed, sex and religion. 150 students live in the hostel (the reason is: the children are from the rural areas of the region and cannot afford transportation). In 2002, the school was accredited for its excellence in achievement by the Rehabilitation Council of India. In 2010, the school received the national award in the institutional category from the President of India. In 2013, the school got affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. On Jan 2 of every year, this school takes the initiative in bringing nearly 2500 students with different disabilities from 20 different schools for the disabled of the region for a day of sports and entertainment.
